Welcome to Dallas, Georgia!

Located in the Atlanta metro area and in the heart of Paulding County, Dallas is home to just under 14,000 residents. With a quaint, historic downtown, visitors can enjoy shopping and be entertained at the renovated Dallas Theater or take an adventure on the popular Silver Comet Trail.

Over the last 20 years, Dallas has participated in the Livable Centers Initiative with a focus on the downtown area. Over the course of this time, Dallas has made many major improvements including façade, infrastructure, and re-development.

Often referred to as a “Hallmark movie scene”, Dallas strives to keep the nostalgic charm while also promoting opportunity for new growth commercially and residentially. 

Economic Development is important to the City of Dallas. With programs like Ga Main Street, Historic Preservation and the Downtown Development Authority, we are working together to maintain a high quality of life for our residents.  Our Business Development department encourages growth by attracting, retaining, and promoting small businesses to the area.
