Yard Debris Pickup
The City of Dallas offers a complimentary scheduled yard debris pickup for city residents.
For a quick response- please submit your request on the “mydallasga” app.
- Pickup begins on Monday of each week. New requests must be submitted before 8:15 A.M. on Monday to be put on that week's schedule. After 8:15 A.M. it will be put on the following week's list.
- We cannot guarantee your pickup will be completed on Monday. Pickups will resume the next available day. This includes rainy days or public holidays.
Please note that ONLY the following items are accepted
- Leaves and limb/tree/grass clippings.
- Limb sizes shall be trimmed down to less than 4 inches in diameter and no longer than 5 feet long.
- Each residence shall be allotted 5ftx5ft or 25 square feet of debris pickup per week.
- Lawn bags filled with clippings are accepted as well.
- Loose leaves must be bagged.
- Yard debris piles must be placed on the right of way. Please do not place debris directly in the roadway, in the back/side of the lot, or on your porch.
- If a private company is hired to do landscaping, the yard waste shall be discarded by the company. If a citizen hires a company to remove trees, the company shall be required to remove ALL trees and debris. Any waste left by any company will NOT be removed by the city.
- The City of Dallas does NOT remove refrigerators, washing machines, couches, mattresses, furniture, etc.
- All final decisions regarding the limb lists are made by the Street Foreman.
