Wastewater Treatment Plant
The City of Dallas operates its own Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). This facility is required to meet National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements enforced by Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA-EPD).
Capacity and Systems
It is currently designed for 3.0 millions of gallons per day (MGD). The facility is a biological nutrient removal system and consists of primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes with a UV disinfection system.
Compliance
The goal of the facility and staff is to maintain compliance with the NPDES permit and do our part to help protect the waters of the State of Georgia. This is accomplished by operating and maintaining the facility and all of its systems properly.
Mailing Address
The mailing address for the Wastewater Treatment Plant is distinct from the physical plant.
