City of Dallas Property Tax
City of Dallas Property Tax bills may be view online. Online payments may be made via debit/credit card or by e-check. We encourage property owners to pay their property taxes online so that payments are received in office prior to the due date. If a property owner chooses to mail in their payment, please note that payments received after 12/20/2024 will incur interest. Online payments are Safe & Secure.

Due Dates
- In the City of Dallas, taxes are due and payable December 20th of each year. Interest starts accruing the next day after the date due. Penalties and FIFA charges will be added 120 days after the due date, if not paid in full.
- If your mortgage company escrows funds for taxes, they should pay your bill. You will need to send them a copy yourself to insure they are properly notified of the amounts and due dates. Property tax bills are sent to the owner of record as of January 1st. The City does not have record of mortgage holders.
- If you live inside the city limits of Dallas, you will receive a tax bill from the Paulding County Tax Commissioner and from the City of Dallas.
Millage Rate
The City of Dallas 2024 millage rate is 6.330. This rate was proposed and adopted at the October 17th, 2024 Special Called Meeting.
