Occupational Tax Renewals

All Renewals are due by December 31st, 2024. Interest and penalties will be incurred to all expired business licenses beginning April 1st, 2025.

Before a new occupational tax certificate can be issued, all personal property and property taxes for the city of Dallas must be fully paid. view the city of Dallas property tax page here. 

Steps to Renew your Occupational Tax Application online: 

1. Log into your CSS Account. If you do not have an account, create one. If you have problems logging in, please contact us.
2. Renew your license. ONLY RENEW THE 2024 LICENSE! Please do not renew an older license. 
3. Upload the required documents. 
   1. Financial Affidavit- with the 2023, yes that is correct 2023, gross receipts
   2. E-Verify Affidavit- This form is required for ALL businesses. If you do not qualify for E-Verify, read the directions on the form to see what you need to complete.
   3. Copy of Applicant's Verifiable Document (driver's license)
   4. Copy of any Professional License affiliated with the business/occupation required by the State of Georgia
4. Pay your Invoice- this will be issued by staff once all documents and requirements have been submitted. 

** You must submit everything (application and upload documents) online for staff to see it.**

If you hold a grease trap, a FOG Permit and Inspection must be completed before renewal can be issued. Visit here to complete permit application.
