Notice of Compensation Increase-Mayor & Council

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION

OF THE CITY OF DALLAS MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL

Notice is given that that the City of Dallas Mayor and City Council intend to increase the compensation of the City’s Mayor from $10,000 per year to $12,500 per year, the Mayor Pro Tem from $7,500 to $10,000 per year and of City Councilmembers from $5,000 per year to $7,500 per year, with those increases to be effective as of January 2026.  The increase will be first considered at the meeting of the City Council February 3, 2025 at 5:15pm in the Council Chambers of the City of Dallas, 129 E. Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132, and further considered for final adoption at the next regular Council Meeting March 3, 2025 at 5:15pm.
