Elizabeth McKoon Memorial Park

Elizabeth Mckoon Memorial Park in the City of Dallas, GA was named after Mary Elizabeth McKoon (1910-2007).

After retiring as a teacher for 25 years, Mrs. McKoon worked as a librarian for 12 years at the Paulding County Public Library. She was a member of the Dallas Garden Club, a former president of the Dallas Woman’s Club, a charter member of the Paulding County Historical Society, a member of Paulding County Retired Educators, and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas.
