Utility Customers and New Applicants are serviced at City Hall

The City of Dallas offers a variety of electronic forms for applying for utility service, and an online payment portal for making utility payments.

For in person payments, and/or applying for service, please visit us at City Hall.

 

The US Postal Service continues to experience delivery delays. Unfortunately, this is impacting our customers' ability to submit payments to us on time. We share in our customers' frustrations as it takes time and resources to track down these late payments, which could be spent on more important matters. The good news is that we offer several convenient ways to pay: We accept all payment types EXCEPT for American Express.

*In person - Cash, check, money order, card (Discover, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay)

*Over the phone - Only Discover, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay

 

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS WHOSE WATER HAS BEEN CUT OFF FOR NON PAYMENT:

A reconnection fee must be paid in addition to past due balance in order for services to be reconnected: accounts in cut off status cannot pay online. Please call us (770-443-8119) or come in person to City Hall to make your payment.  

A $15 reconnection fee is automatically charged once account is in cut off status - for same day reconnection, an additional $35 fee must be paid as well. Next day reconnection fee is the $15 fee. 

PLEASE NOTE: PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR CUTOFF RECONNECTION PAYMENTS - CASH, CARD (Discover, VISA or MASTERCARD) OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.
